Fundación Terra, Bazar del Sábado, and UNITEC HUB Award the Ingenuity and Resilience of Honduran Entrepreneurs
Fundación Terra, in partnership with Bazar del Sábado and UNITEC HUB, has awarded Seed Capital in kind and Digital Kits to the winners of their latest competition. This initiative aims to develop entrepreneurial skills and promote digital transformation for businesses in Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula.
The innovative program focused on training Honduran entrepreneurs in critical areas for business growth, including strategic planning, digital tools, digital marketing, finance, and soft skills. Through these trainings, participants gained essential knowledge and strategies to enhance their business models and achieve more efficient and profitable operations.
In this edition, the competition saw participation from 33 entrepreneurs from Tegucigalpa and 30 from San Pedro Sula. From these, 15 finalists from Tegucigalpa and 11 from San Pedro Sula were selected to present their financial and investment plans before a panel of expert judges. 24 winners were chosen based on criteria such as innovation, creativity, business viability, and effective incorporation of digital marketing strategies.

The winners were recognized not only for their ability to innovate and adapt to new technologies but also for their vision and commitment to sustainable business growth. This event highlights the importance of fostering entrepreneurship and digitalization in Honduras, contributing to the strengthening of the local economy.
For instance, "Panadería Morita," the first-place winner in Tegucigalpa, emerged from the courage of its founders, who decided to venture into entrepreneurship after 12 years of experience in bakery management and now operate three locations in the city. Meanwhile, in San Pedro Sula, "Papaki, Arte en Cada Nudo" reminds us of the power of art as a means of healing and creation. Born out of a personal crisis, this macramé business has allowed its founder to transform a moment of despair into a new source of life and sustenance, celebrating a year of success and growth. These stories demonstrate that with dedication, resilience, and passion, it is possible to achieve success and transform lives," said Mr. Fredy Nasser, Executive President of Fundación Terra.
At Fundación Terra, we firmly believe in the potential of Honduran entrepreneurs and the importance of providing them with the necessary tools to turn their ideas into successful businesses. This partnership with Bazar del Sábado has enabled us to extend these opportunities to more people, positively impacting their lives and the community.
