The new Terra te Impulsa Digital Platform empowers the Entrepreneurial sector in Guatemala

Fundación Terra, in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce of Guatemala, Emprendete Guate, Voces Vitales, and Wonder Women, is launching the "Terra Te Impulsa" program. This program introduces an innovative digital platform designed to strengthen Guatemala's economy by supporting local entrepreneurs.

Since its launch in Honduras in 2020, Terra Te Impulsa focuses on the training and development of ventures through strategic alliances. As part of the program benefits, entrepreneurs can access the training section with entities such as Meta and Aleph Group Inc. There, they can obtain certifications in digital marketing and Augmented Reality, acquiring essential digital skills and competencies. This approach strengthens the country's entrepreneurial ecosystem by providing access to new technologies and business practices.

We invite all entrepreneurs to register at www.terrateimpulsa.com and use this tool to showcase and sell their products or services. The platform is user-friendly and allows each entrepreneur to manage their own sales section.

"At Fundación Terra, we value the dedication and commitment that entrepreneurs contribute to bringing their products and services to Guatemalan homes," says Mariel Rivera, Executive Director of the Terra Foundation. "That's why we have created this platform in collaboration with key players in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. We hope it becomes a useful tool for entrepreneurs, enabling them to offer their products, and for the public to find and contact them securely."

The platform will feature a diversity of entrepreneurs offering services, food, home goods, fashion, lifestyle, and technology. "We recognize the great potential of these entrepreneurs and appreciate our strategic allies for their commitment. We know that many SMEs have been formed with their support and are now an active part of the country's economy," adds Rivera.

Through the Virtual Catalog, users can explore a wide range of products and services, know prices, and quickly and securely contact sellers. Finally, they can complete the purchase directly with entrepreneurs using the "place your order" button within each store.

The Terra Te Impulsa program originated in Honduras in May 2020 as an immediate response to entrepreneurs experiencing the economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. In collaboration with 12 strategic allies, it currently has over 3,100 registered entrepreneurs, delivering more than US $211,000 in seed capital and prizes through the Terra Te Impulsa award
