Within the framework of the signing of the Cooperation Agreement with Fundación Amigos de la Tigra (AMITIGRA) and within its objectives of action in favor of the Environment, Fundación Terra, for the seventh consecutive year, reaffirms its commitment to promote environmental conservation and the responsible use of natural resources.

Since April 2015, Fundación Terra established a commitment to cooperation to ensure the goals of environmental sustainability, framed in its strategy and aligned with the vision of AMITIGRA and today reiterates its actions through the disbursement of L 931, 000 and the official delivery of forest firefighting equipment, as part of the activities contemplated within the cooperation alliance.

To date, more than 2.6 million lempiras have been delivered in firefighting equipment and tools, payment of Forest Resources Guard, agroforestry study and technician, uniforms, seeds and bags for nursery, environmental education material, among others, within the Environment axis.

The main problems that affect ecological systems in Honduras are deforestation, forest fires and pollution but together as a nation, with small actions you can change the course that forests will take and to continue the work of AMITIGRA today the donation of uniforms, front lamps, forest rakes, machetes, computers, backpacks, GPS and a drone for monitoring and conservation of the forest, are delivered.

Fundación Terra has also invested efforts in the cleaning and preparation of land in reforestation areas, acting in volunteer campaigns to plant, to date, a total of 8,622 trees in that area.
